Our ongoing collaborative and transitioning leadership takes root.

We need your continued support!

With your help, we have made our voices heard and the Planning Board has denied the developer’s plan that would have done irreversible destruction to the land of 133 Essex Street. But our mission has not been fully achieved until this land has been conserved, and the surrounding watershed and wetlands have been protected. This 66 acres of land is a crucial wildlife and bird habitat and an important natural resource and area of recreation for the town, and it also holds one of the few remaining farmlands in Hamilton. This land also abuts the only remaining water resource in Hamilton, the ponds and lake of the Chebacco watershed. We need to protect and preserve these valuable natural resources!

Our mission now is:

SAVE THE LAND

We are committed to protecting the 133 Essex Street property and supporting it in becoming conservation land. We support the importance of open land for Hamilton.

SAVE THE FARM

We will work to protect the integrity of the farmland at 133 Essex Street as it continues to be valuable agricultural space for the community.

SAVE THE WATERSHED

We are committed to protecting Hamilton’s only remaining water resource: the ponds and Lake of the Chebacco watershed.

Please support us in this effort by joining in one of our work groups focused on educating others in the community, fundraising and continuing to advocate for the protection of this land, farm and critical watershed area.
